Kickoff Post

Well, I created this blog a million years ago (or more accurately 3 years ago) because I wanted to share my struggles with crafting. I subscribe to the scrapbook magazines and see all the cool tutorials online and yet my stuff never looks quite as perfect as I intend. I can't be the only one who started looking for inspiration that was more in line with my meager skill set...can I? Anyone? Hello???

Anywaaaaaaay...

This is the blog of one average crafter trying to make memorable projects. Welcome!

----

To start us off, it seems only right to post a project that is new to me. Cardmaking. I've always wanted to make cards but they never seem to be as unique or beautiful as I'd like. However, my limited budget these days seems to be going directly into clothing my darling daughter, I decided I better put some of the thousands of dollars in scrapping supplies I have to good use.

Supply List:
Paper - Carolyn Gavin Greenhouse for K & Company
Circle Cutter - Creative Memories
Border Punch - Fiskars
Glitter - Stickles

My handy dandy card making trick is to always use double sided paper and a border punch. It always makes the card feel more polished in my opinion.

Hopefully, this will be the first post of many!! Cross your fingers.
